 Yak-chun sa
There is a story that has grown up around this temple. According to the story, a scholar was offering prayers in a small cave to the Avalokitesvara for 100 days to cure his disease. In his dream he received medicine water and drank it. After his complete cure he built this temple and devoted his life to spreading Buddhism. The name Yak-chun sa is connected to the spring water gushing out from early spring to autumn, and with a medicine water pond flowing through all seasons. Located on Cheju island, the best sightseeing place in Korea. This temple boasts one of the largest buildings in Asia, as well as the recently constructed 3-story main hall and the Vairocana all, also hailed as one of the largest in Asia.
 Kwang-Myung Sa
Kwang-Myung Sa is a beautiful temple with a view of the pacific ocean, next to Chun Jae Yeun waterfall. It is very impressive to see the waterfall reflecting the sunrise when you get up early in the morning for the morning dharma ceremony. The main Buddha hall is a traditional wooden building. This temple was built by Bang Dong Hwa, the Korean independence leader.
